About Me

Hi, I'm Vinay Kumar, a researcher in Applied Mathematics. I hold a PhD from IIT Madras, where I specialized in queueing systems with multiple classes of customers. My research focuses on stochastic modeling, reinforcement learning in queueing systems, and optimization. Currently, I am exploring Safe Reinforcement Learning for constrained queueing systems and working on mathematical modeling problems. I am also passionate about teaching and sharing mathematical insights, aiming to contribute through research, discussions, and applications.
